Many a times, we only treasure what we lost and never really treasure what we have. We just think there is always a tomorrow but that tomorrow just didn’t come.
Let me just give three examples ranging from the smallest daily things to the largest most important things to show that we often neglect our blessings.
I have this racquet of mine which I am currently using and I like it a lot. But now it has scratches all over the frame of it and I really regret not taking good care of it and knocking it. There are a few dents that is very serious and if knocked into the exact same spot again, it will just bend inwards. The racquet is bought from my secondary coach and I don’t think I can get any of the same brand, design and quality from outside. Now I just hope for the day that it break to never come. It is just not what it used to be.
From primary school, I have a close group of friends. We used to hang out all the time. We go swimming, badminton, lunching and even shopping together. I never give much thought of it when we are together and never really take the time to build up our friendship. But now, I just hope we are all free and able to come out to have a meal together. Now and then I will still sms them to chat and to get a feel of what we experience last time.
When I was preparing for my Os, I had little preparation. I think I won’t really do well because my prelim and mid-year and all the test in the year was not very good. I never even think I can enter into poly. So, I just slack and go out with friends after each paper and never revise for my exam and when I got my results, I was shock and at the same time sad. I did not foresee me getting grades that can go into JC but I also felt that I should have studied. I hope that I can just go back to the time when I was preparing my Os. So I can score better.
To each, lost might be a different kind of experience that they have. This three might even lead to more memories. Just hope that this can inspire you and share your ideas with me.
This is also the last blog entry that is in this manner. A big change is on the way. So just watch out for it.

Time. What is it actually? I would say it is man’s best friend. Many a times Time helps us in many ways but we just fail to see it and we blame time for what is not his to accuse. Let me explain it to you.
Here is a situation: many people failed their exams and they want to do a retest on the immediate spot. But after some time, they just simply don’t feel like doing the retest. Time knows us best other than God. He knows that we will not work as hard as we set out to and after his work, it is just so. Most of the people just don’t do well for the retest or some just don’t go for the retest.
It is also for love. We just enjoy the time with our stead and every time when we are together, we just hope that time will stop at that moment. But when break ups happen, we just blame time for passing so fast and we failed to treasure the moments. But after a while, time just heals this hurt that love created and finds new hope for all of us. During the time of break up, we will all feel hurt and cry and do stupid stuff. We regret that break up and try to mend everything. But we failed to see the good part about the breakup. In time, you will surely find someone better and that you will see what you are doing is really stupid and unworthy.
Time can also help to give us experience. Experience is gain in everything we do with the passing of days. We learn to walk, to read, to talk, to playing games, to knowing about life and even to relationship. With the passing of the days, we gain better knowledge of what we are doing are what we are to do.
There is this phrase I like “true friends doesn’t exist, neither friends nor foes last”. This is from a local movie “15”. I find it very true because as time passes, who can you really call your true friends? Time will reveal all. Nothing in this world last forever. Even in the bible it tells us this. That we should not go for worldly things as they are not lasting, only things in heaven last for eternity.
What you hope to achieve, time will help you with it if you persist and strive hard in it. Time will not forsake you and He will let you know if what you want is good for you. In a way, I feel that time is a great assistant to God as He knows us all best and he makes use of time to make us into who we really are and what is best for us.
