I went to cut my hair after Church today and I mean really cut. The only reason is because my hair is too long and I hate to waste time styling it. I don't want to just to let the stylist touch my hair and expect me to pay for it, so I had it cut.

After a whole period of exam stress, I have decided to give myself a treat. I went to a good salon which is quite reputable. I went to the counter and said that I want to have my hair cut. So this friendly lady just show me to my seat and offered me some magazines and a cup of tea. I took a sip and I realised it was Lipton tea and quite saturated which I don't really like. So I did not touch that cup again.

Next, a guy named Steve came and asked me how I would like my hair to be. As I normally would, I just told him how I would like my hair to be cut. With the length and what-not clearly described and all, he walked away. Next, another man came and start to wash my hair. It is always nice to have someone serve you. He also massage my neck and my head for me. It was really nice and it made the cost count. Good time never last. Then he washed my hair for me. Blessings comes in pair; I enjoyed another round of good massage.

Not long after, Steve came and start cutting my hair. It was the usual kind of cutting you get at any barber but at a slower pace. But this is done more professional. Every single strand of hair has to be done to perfection. Art is priceless. It was a nice experience to have your hair cut in such an environment.

The price I paid was reasonable for such service. Now I know why people will pay for such extravagance. Even for that few minutes, it is enough to leave a memory of a lifetime. Probably I sound like a country-bum here, who have never step into a Salon before. Personally, I believe that all I need is to have my hair cut so I won't be nagged at in school. For the record, I did enter a Salon before. I spent over a hundred to have my hair cut and dyed after my Os.

I guess it is the cost that made the difference. What you get is equals to what you pay. No regrets what-so-ever. All it takes it just to be happy and enjoy.
